Can I still apply for U CARE PLUS 8

Sorry, we’re currently enhancing the U CARE PLUS 8 plan features to have better coverage for our customers. Customers without an existing U Care Plus 8 subscription will not be able to apply from 13 September 2016 onwards. Do stay tuned to our website for updates.

I'm an existing U CARE PLUS 8 plan customer. What will happen to my U CARE PLUS 8 subscription?
For customers with Annual U Care Plus 8 subscription, your coverage is valid till the expiry date of the annual subscription. Upon expiry of the annual subscription, your U Care Plus 8 will be reverted to a monthly subscription.  Last renewal date for Monthly U Care Plus 8 is on December 31st 2016.
For customers with monthly U Care Plus 8 subscription, your monthly subscription will continue to be auto-renewed up till December 31st 2016.
I'm an existing U CARE PLUS 8 plan customer. Can I still claim if there are damages to my phone?

Claims will be valid as long as the U Care Plus 8 subscription is still valid and payment has been cleared.
Current claims process will still apply and do refer to our website for the claims process.

What is U CARE PLUS 8?

U CARE PLUS 8 is a mobile device protection plan provided by U Mobile.

What is covered?

U CARE PLUS 8 covers accidental damage and liquid damage up to RM 1,000.

Does U CARE PLUS 8 cover theft and loss of mobile devices?

No, U CARE PLUS 8 does not cover theft and loss of mobile devices.

Who provides the coverage?

The coverage is underwritten by Berjaya Sompo Insurance.

What is the cost of U CARE PLUS 8 coverage?

It is only RM 8 per month and you can enroll for this plan if you are an existing U Mobile postpaid subscriber or if you sign up as a new postpaid subscriber today.

Is there any promotion for me to sign up?

Yes, you can choose to purchase this plan at only RM 88 for full 12 months coverage instead of the full price of RM 96. It means you will enjoy one month of free cover if you sign up for 12 months up front today.

Is there any other cost apart from the monthly premium of RM 8?

There is no hidden cost. However, there will be an excess fee due in the event of a claim. The excess fee is only payable upon the approval of a particular claim.
