Advance Charging for Broadband

Subscribers are advised to perform a termination request at month's end to fully utilize their data subscription.

The activation fee is for the activation of the line while the Advance Charging fee is the upfront service fee being charged to your account for your first monthly bill.

No. The Advance Charging fee is the service fee collected before you use the service. In the past, U Mobile only collect the subscription fee from customer at the end of the month, from January 2012 bill onwards, U Mobile will collect the subscription fee upfront.

In accordance with industry practice, postpaid Broadband subscribers will be charged for a month of Advance Access Fee from Jan 2012 onwards.

This is an industry practice where you pay before using the service.

The Advance Charging fee will impact all the new and existing subscribers (UB20, UB40, UB68, MB40, MB68, MB128) of postpaid broadband.
