U Broadband Prepaid

Switching plans is only allowed when the validity of the subscribed plan expires.

You can check your data allowance by dialing *118*2*3#.   Alternatively, you can SMS “DATA2” to 28118, but please be informed that SMS charges will apply.

You need to have a sufficient balance in your account to subscribe to the U Broadband plan that you want. For example, in order to subscribe to MB40, you need to have more than RM40 in your subscription wallet.

If your account is inactive or has expired, you will not be able to use U Broadband. Do ensure that your account remains active.

If you are an existing U Mobile prepaid subscriber, you can activate U Broadband by dialing *118# on your mobile phone and selecting U Broadband from the menu. OR SMS "ON MBxx" to 28118, where "MBxx" represents the data plan you would like to subscribe to.

Yes. You will be sent a SMS alert and also web redirected at various stages of usage, for example when your quota is almost used up or requires renewal.

The status of your account must be active if you wish to subscribe to U Broadband.

Yes. The U Broadband Prepaid service will automatically be renewed when the validity expires, with the exception of MBDay and MB15, provided that you have sufficient balance in your account to subscribe.

Yes, you will be able to unsubscribe from U Broadband plans except for MB2 and MBDay. To unsubscribe, dial *118*2*4#. Your plan will be removed immediately upon confirmation.

For MB2 and MBDay, you may request to stop auto-renewal and your plan will be removed upon plan expiry. To stop auto-renewal, dial *118*2*5#.
