FAQs for Apple iPhone X Reservation

All existing U Mobile Postpaid principal subscribers are eligible to make reservation for the Apple iPhone X.

Eligible customers are able to perform reservation from 17th November 2017 (00:00:01) via U Mobile official portal only.

Eligible customers are required to follow the step-by-step instruction for the Apple iPhone X reservation:
Step 1: Go to www.u.com.my to fill up and submit the iPhone X online reservation form.
Step 2: Log in to U Mobile self-care portal at www.u.com.my/selfcare and make a reservation payment of minimum RM300 in a single transaction to customer’s Postpaid account. Payment has to be made within the same day of reservation form submission.
Step 3: An SMS will be sent to customer’s mobile number notifying on the stock availability.
Step 4: Within 48 hours, customer is required to bring the following verification items to the selected U Mobile store location to complete the purchase:

  1. EDM on successful submission for reservation;
  2. Payment receipt of RM300 bill payment (Hardcopy or softcopy in PDF);
  3. Collection SMS notification.

Due to stock constraint and with the RM300 for the reservation, we will reserve the stock for the customer. As of now, we are not able to confirm on the stock availability. Nonetheless, the maximum waiting duration will be 3 weeks. We will notify the customer via SMS as soon as the stock is available at the customer’s preferred U Mobile store.

The reservation payment of RM300 is non-refundable and not transferrable. However, the payment will be used to offset any outstanding / current / upcoming bills of customer’s Postpaid principal account.

For pre-order, customer is required to make full payment of the device price & plan and we will deliver the phone to customer from 24th November 2017 onwards. Meanwhile, for reservation, customer is required to make a payment of RM300 to reserve the device once the stock is available. Subject to stocks availability, customer will be notified to walk in to the preferred U Mobile store to complete the purchase.

Customer is required to self-collect the device at the chosen preferred U Mobile store during reservation once U Mobile has notified the customer on the stock availability via SMS.

Unfortunately, change of model / colour / capacity is not allowed. We will reserve the device based on the model, colour & capacity that the customer has selected during the stock reservation.

Unfortunately, customer is not allowed to change the selected pick-up location upon confirmation in the reservation form as we will be arranging the stock to customer’s preferred U Mobile store.

Once the Apple iPhone X stock is available, customer will receive a SMS requesting to walk-in to the preferred U Mobile store to collect the stock within 48 hours. If the customer is unable to collect the device within the said duration, the stock will be released and no longer reserved for the customer.
