U MicroCredit T&C
U MicroCredit is an easy payment scheme operated by a third party credit facility provider (“Credit Provider”) in partnership with U Mobile. Please note the following terms and conditions:

  1. Application for U MicroCredit is available through the following channels:-
    1. Selected U Mobile Stores;
    2. Selected U Mobile Premium Dealers; and
    3. Online application
  2. You must be at least 18 years old and either a Malaysian citizen or permanent resident with a valid identity card. Temporary identity card holders are not eligible to apply.
  3. Your application must be accompanied by the supporting documents required by the Credit Provider.
  4. U MicroCredit is available only for purchase of device bundled with a U Mobile plan. If your U Mobile registration is rejected, you will not be entitled to purchase the device via U MicroCredit even if the Credit Provider approves your U MicroCredit application.
  5. All applications are subject to stock availability.
  6. You are not and shall not be entitled to any counterclaim, set-off or defence against U Mobile in respect of the sale and purchase of the device.
  7. The information that you provided in connection with your application will be held by Credit Provider in accordance with Credit Provider’s privacy policy.
  8. Upon approval of your application, you will be contacted and you shall return to the branch where you submitted the application / selected for collection (for online applications). At the branch/outlet, you shall complete the process by doing the following: -
    1. to sign up for a U Mobile plan;
    2. to make the necessary payment;
    3. to collect the device; and
    4. to complete and submit all required documents, including but not limited to the auto-debit form and device acknowledgement form.
  9. The approval is valid for 30 days only from approval date.
  10. U Mobile is the facilitator for your U MicroCredit application. Upon approval and completion of the application process, all matters relating to easy payment will be handled solely by the Credit Provider. Credit Provider’s terms and conditions apply and are set out in the Credit Provider’s application form.
  11. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes and you agree to release U Mobile from all liabilities including negligence for any loss or damage whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising from your U MicroCredit application.
