Terms & Conditions

  1. This International Airtime Transfer Ramadan & Raya 3 Months ("Campaign") is organised by U Mobile Sdn. Bhd. Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U) ("U Mobile") which commences on 1 March 2025 and ends on 31 May 2025 ("Campaign Period").
  2. All entries received before or after the Campaign Period will be automatically disqualified.
  3. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).
  4. Campaign Eligibility
    1. This Campaign is open to U Mobile Prepaid subscribers who have received SMS notification from U Mobile only.
    2. U Mobile reserves the right to reject any entries or disqualify any participant without assigning any reason.
    3. U Mobile’s employees and their immediate family members are ineligible to participate in this Campaign.
    4. Any consents, indemnities, agreement, undertakings, representations and warranties given under these Terms and Conditions by eligible participants who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have been given by their parents or guardians.
  5. Campaign Mechanics and Rewards
    1. To participate in the Campaign, you are required to perform an international airtime transfer (IAT) transaction to the country and denomination as specified in the table below via USSD (Dial *118*5# for the 5G-Ready Prepaid rate plan or *118*3# for the other Prepaid rate plans) during the Campaign Period, upon receipt of SMS notification from U Mobile.
    2. The receiver of the IAT (“Receiver”) will be entitled to receive the Receiver bonus (specified in the table below) (“Receiver Bonus”). A total of 3,000 Receivers for each month will be selected throughout the Campaign Period:

  1. The validity period of the Receiver Bonus follows the Receiver’s Prepaid SIM validity period.
  2. The Receiver Bonus will be credited into the Receiver’s Prepaid account within 1 hour from the first successful IAT transaction. Participant will receive an SMS notification once the Bonus has been credited into the Receiver’s Prepaid account.
  3. The Receiver Bonus will be forfeited if
    1. you terminate your Prepaid account;
    2. your account is not Active;
    3. you switch to U Mobile Postpaid plan;
    4. your Prepaid account is suspended;
    5. you port out from U Mobile network. “Active” means able to make and receive calls.
  4. For Indonesia, each sender mobile number is only entitled to two (2) Receiver Bonus throughout the Campaign Period. For Thailand, Pakistan, and Cambodia, there is no maximum limit for Receiver Bonus.
  5. You must ensure that your Prepaid account is Active throughout the Campaign Period and at the point of issuance of the Receiver Bonus.
  6. The Receiver Bonus is given on an "as is" basis and is not transferable or exchangeable for cash, in full or in part. U Mobile reserves the right to substitute the Receiver Bonus with that of similar value at any time without prior notice.
  1. General
    1. U Mobile’s decisions on any matter relating to this Campaign are final and binding on all participants. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by U Mobile.
    2. U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions including terminating or suspending this Campaign and extending the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Campaign.
    3. All prizes or rewards are accepted entirely at the risk of the participants. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign. All participants and if the participants are below 18 years of age, their parents or guardians agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.
    4. By participating in the Campaign, all participants:
      1. consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign;
      2. consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
      3. grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
    5. Any consents, indemnities, agreement, undertakings, representations and warranties given under these Terms and Conditions by participants who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have been given by their parents or guardians.
    6. The subscription and use of U Mobile’s Prepaid mobile services are subject to U Mobile’s standard Prepaid Terms and Condition and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, U Mobile’s standard Prepaid Terms and Conditions will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
    7. The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.
