GoLife is a monthly renewable term life insurance plan with coverage of up to 50 years of age.
It provides a lump sum benefit in the event of death or total and permanent disability (“TPD”) of life assured due to all causes. Refer to the product disclosure sheet for further details.

GoLife is exclusively offered to U Mobile customers who are:
Principal postpaid line holders or prepaid customers.
Malaysian citizens or permanent residents with a valid NRIC.
In a good healthy condition.
Aged between 18 to 45 years of the birthday month (renewable until the age 49). For example, if your date of birth is on 28/11/1967, the last renewal date for the GoLife plan is on 27/11/2017, which is a day before you turn 50 years old.
GoLife is a monthly renewable insurance plan that provides coverage of up to 50 years of age.
There are currently two plans offered, which are GoLife 5 and GoLife 10. You can refer below for the following benefits:

You can purchase GoLife through the MyUMobile App by selecting the insurance tab and following the instructions provided.
The monthly premium will be deducted from your prepaid account if you are a prepaid subscriber. For postpaid subscribers, it will be reflected in your postpaid bill. GoLife will be automatically renewed every month provided that the monthly premium is successfully charged via your U Mobile account.
No. Each customer can only purchase either the GoLife 5 or GoLife 10 at one time.
Currently, there is no option for you to upgrade or downgrade. To change your plan, you may cancel the existing GoLife 5 and purchase GoLife 10. However, refunds will not be provided to you and the GoLife 5 coverage will end at the next premium due date.
For example, if you purchase GoLife 5 on 1 January 2022 and decide to terminate the plan on 15 April 2022, your existing coverage will be valid only until 30 April 2022.
Note: You are advised to carefully review the premium amount and coverage before purchasing any plan.
A Free Look Period is a term that allows you to cancel your insurance plan within the first 15 days of the delivery date of your first e-certificate. Within the said period, we will refund the full premium paid by crediting the amount into your prepaid account or reflecting it as a rebate in your postpaid bill.
For GoLife, we offer a 60-day Satisfaction Guaranteed Period where we provide a full refund of premium paid within 60 days from the date of the first premium charged (“Satisfaction Guaranteed Period”) instead of the normal 15 days period. This Satisfaction Guaranteed Period will be applied automatically unless notified otherwise.
No. You will only need to fill in a simple health questionnaire.
There are no exclusions under this plan.
GoLife premium is not subjected to GST as provided under the Goods and Services Tax Act 2014. This may change subject to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department’s instruction.
GOLIFE is a pure protection plan and does not provide any cash surrender value.
Yes, you may claim this for personal income tax relief. This is subject to the Malaysian Inland Revenue Board’s final decision.
Once you have successfully purchased GoLife, you will receive an email or SMS confirmation and an e-certificate from SLMA within 2 business days from the date of your GoLife purchase.

Yes. We offer a Satisfaction Guaranteed Period, that allows you to cancel your plan within the Satisfaction Guaranteed Period and receive a full refund of the premium paid.
If you cancel at any point after the Satisfaction Guaranteed Period, you will have insurance protection up to the date of the next premium payment. No cash value or pro-rated premium will be refunded. You may cancel the plan by contacting Sun Life Malaysia Client Careline, U Mobile customer careline or MyUMobile App.

Yes. Your GoLife plan will still be valid and you can check your GoLife status via the MyUMobile App.
No. Your GoLife plan will be terminated if the ownership of your U Mobile postpaid or prepaid account is transferred.
Yes. Your GoLife plan will still be valid. You may check your plan status via the MyUMobile App.
No. The GoLife plan will be terminated on the premium due date as it is only offered to principal line holders.
No. The GoLife plan will be discontinued if you terminate your U Mobile line or port out from U Mobile’s network.
No. You can only purchase the GoLife plan for yourself. Your son may purchase the GoLife plan if he meets the eligibility requirement for the plan by signing up as a U Mobile principal line holder.
The GoLife plan is only offered for individual principal line holders. To subscribe for this plan, you may need to sign up as a new U Mobile principal holder under your name.
No. The GoLife plan will be terminated. You can purchase a new GoLife plan using your new mobile number provided that you meet the eligibility criteria prescribed under question 1 above. However, there will be no refund of cash value and no pro-rated premium for the GoLife plan purchased under your previous number.
You can view the information history of the last GoLife plan purchased and the relevant payment details via the MyUMobile App. All details will be displayed under “My Certificate”.
Kindly ensure that all your personal details are complete and accurate prior to your purchase. You will need to update SLMA or U Mobile if there are any changes to your personal details after you have purchased the plan. Please take note that SLMA or U Mobile might advise you to cancel the existing plan and re-subscribe to a new plan, if necessary.
