  1. General
    1. The U Home 5G with Samsung TV Bundle (“Bundle”) is a bundled plan where you can subscribe to U Home 5G plan (“Service”) with 4K Samsung TVs offered by U Mobile. By subscribing to the Bundle, the Terms of Service of U Home 5G, including our Privacy Notice, and these additional terms and conditions will apply (collectively, “the Terms”), all of which are available on www.u.com.my.
    2. We may revise the Terms, the Service or our pricing without any liability. We may provide reasonable advance notice of such changes. You are advised to regularly check the Terms on our website. Your continued usage of the Service signifies your acceptance of the changes to these terms, the Service or our pricing. If you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately terminate your subscription to the Service.
    3. The Bundle consists of U Home 5G data service together with one (1) 4K Samsung TV (“Device”).
  2. Duration
    1. Your subscription to the Bundle is subject to either a 24-month or 36-month commitment period (“Commitment Period”) effective from the Bundle activation date.
  3. Eligibility
    1. You are not eligible for the Bundle if you have any outstanding payments with us or you are under the CTOS blacklist (with other telecommunication providers).
    2. U Mobile reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria for the Bundle from time to time.
  4. Deposit and Upfront Fees
    1. For non-Malaysians, a RM500 deposit is required to be paid upon sign up, in addition to the Device price and any applicable upfront payments.
  5. Disclaimer
    1. We may monitor your account to ensure you are complying with the Terms. We will investigate misuse of the Bundle. If we find that you have misused the Bundle, we may recover from you any costs of investigating the misuse and any compensation we are required to pay to regulators or other parties because of your misuse.
    2. You must ensure that your device is a LAN or WiFi-enabled device. We are not responsible for any failure to obtain the Service due to your device.
  6. Device and Warranty
    1. Availability of the Device is subject to stock availability during the registration of the Bundle. If the Device is unavailable, you may sign-up for U Home 5G (SIM only plan) and obtain the Device at a future date.
    2. The image(s) shown in our website or promotion materials are for illustration purposes only and may not be an exact representation of the Device. We reserve the right to change the Device models with a device of comparable capability.
    3. The warranty for the Device will be provided by Samsung (M) Sdn Bhd (“Samsung”).
    4. The warranty period for the Device is 24 months starting from the point of delivery of the Device.
    5. During the warranty period, if the Device is proven to be defective or your Device fault claim is proven to be due to manufacturer’s defect, you are required to go to nearest Samsung’s authorized service centre for checking and warranty replacement.
  7. Termination and Suspension
    1. The Bundle will continue until terminated by you (except where you have subscribed to an add-on data plan where the Bundle continues until your data allowance expires or is used up, whichever occurs earlier) or until terminated by us according to the Terms.
    2. If the Bundle is terminated prior to the expiry of the Commitment Period, you are required to pay the balance charges for the remaining months of the commitment and any unpaid charges for the Bundle.
    3. The Device provided under the Bundle will belong to you and is not required to be returned to us even if the Bundle is terminated.
    4. You may walk-in to our U Mobile service centres or our dealer outlets to request for termination of the Bundle.
    5. If your Service has been suspended due to non-payment of outstanding bills, the Monthly Fee will continue to be charged. We may notify you prior to the termination of the Service due to the continuous suspension. We may reactivate the Bundle within 2 business days after you have paid all outstanding charges.
    6. We reserve right to cease, alter, cancel, suspend or substitute the Bundle at any time without prior notice. We are not liable to you for any and all loss or damage suffered or incurred by you (including negligence) as a direct or indirect result of such cessation, alteration, cancellation, suspension or substitution. Should we choose to cease offering the Bundle, we shall endeavour to offer you a comparable service from our product range at an equivalent price or market rate.
  8. Delivery & Installation
    1. Delivery of the Device shall be processed after completion of payment for the Bundle.

    1. Our authorised fulfillment partners (Servex (M) Sdn Bhd and MTT Solutions Sdn Bhd) will contact you directly for delivery arrangements. You agree to allow sharing of your personal data with our fulfillment partners.
    2. You may request for update of your delivery address by contacting U Mobile Customer Service at 018-388 1318.
    3. U Mobile shall not be responsible for failure or delay of delivery, loss or damage to the Device caused by our appointed fulfillment partner.
    4. Self-collection of the device at any U Mobile touchpoint is not allowed.
    5. You or your appointed representative is required to sign the delivery order during the delivery of the Device. You are required to present your valid ID/NRIC at point of delivery for verification purposes.
    6. Free basic installation is included with your purchase of the Bundle. Any custom installation such as wall-mounting TVs will require an additional fee which is payable directly to our authorised fulfillment partner.
    7. Due to any unforeseen circumstances such as faulty stocks, we reserve the right to cancel your order for the Device even if you have made payment for that order. If you have already made payment for an order that is subsequently cancelled by us, we will refund the amount paid by you in relation to that order.

U SaveMore for U Home 5G

  1. U SaveMore is a bundled service where you can subscribe to U Home 5G plans with a Device offered by U Mobile. If you subscribe to U SaveMore, the Terms of Service of the respective U Home 5G plans, including our Privacy Notice, and these additional terms and conditions will apply (collectively, “the Terms”), all of which are available on www.u.com.my.
  2. The rate table guide for the rate plan under this U SaveMore is as set out on our website at https://www.u.com.my.
    1. All U SaveMore subscribers are required to pay an upfront payment (if applicable) and device price upon sign up. The upfront payment will vary depending on the Device model that you have chosen as shown in https://www.u.com.my/en/personal/devices.
    2. For Non-Malaysian citizens, a deposit of RM500 is required to be paid upon sign up, in addition to the upfront payment and Device price. When your U Home 5G subscription is terminated, this deposit will be refunded free of interest after all outstanding charges have been paid.
  3. Once you have paid the upfront payment upon sign up, that upfront payment will then be reflected as a monthly rebate in your monthly bills throughout the Commitment Period from your first bill, subject to the bill cycle.
  4. The upfront payment will be waived if at the time you register for U SaveMore when you have fulfilled the upfront payment waiver criteria set by U Mobile. Eligibility of upfront payment waiver is solely at U Mobile’s own discretion.
  5. If you terminate your U SaveMore or change to another rate plan at any time before the end of the Commitment Period, the following will apply:


    Balance charges = (Device Recommended Retail Price (RRP) – U Mobile Selling Price – upfront payment) ÷ Total Commitment Period (months) x remaining number of months)


    RRP and U Mobile Selling Price are specified in https://www.u.com.my/en/personal/devices)

    The remaining number of months will be deemed to include the month during which you terminate the Service.

  6. All claims relating to your Device, which is part of the U SaveMore service and which are covered by the warranty, if any, should be referred to the relevant manufacturer. We do not provide any warranty claim on any Device.

U PayLater for U Home 5G

U Mobile U PayLater is a promotional package consisting of the Service, with the Device to be purchased via a 0% interest instalment payment plan offered by U Mobile. If you subscribe to U PayLater, the Terms of Service of the respective U Home 5G plans, including our Privacy Notice, and these additional terms and conditions will apply (collectively, “the Terms”), all of which are available on www.u.com.my. The rate plans offered under U PayLater for these Device are U Home 5G plans.
  1. Eligibility
    1. U PayLater is available to the following:
      1. customers who are 22 years of age at the date of registration of U PayLater;
      2. existing U Mobile customers selected by U Mobile at its absolute discretion, from time to time.
    2. If you are in category a. i) & ii) and wish to switch to U PayLater, your existing rate plan will be automatically terminated as at the date of our acceptance of your subscription, and you are liable for any charges due to the termination of your existing rate plan. You must fully settle all outstanding charges under your existing rate plan before you can proceed with the U PayLater registration.
    3. Each U Home 5G customer (with one NRIC) will only be entitled to subscribe to one (1) U PayLater. Only Malaysians are eligible to subscribe to U PayLater.
  2. Duration

    The duration of the instalment payment plan is the pre-agreed Commitment Period commencing from the date of activation of U PayLater, depending on the device model selected.

  3. Price and Payment
    1. Prices for Devices which are bundled with U PayLater and U Home 5G plans are set out in https://www.u.com.my/en/personal/devices.
    2. You are required to remit an upfront payment upon registration of the U PayLater depending on the Device model purchased.
    3. You will pay consecutive monthly payments (“Monthly Device Fee”) during the Commitment Period which will appear as a charge in your monthly bill.
  4. Ownership

    Title, interest and ownership in the device will pass to you only upon full payment of all Monthly Device Fees.

  5. Termination and Suspension

    If you terminate or if we terminate your U PayLater due to your default or if you downgrade your rate plan before the expiry of the Commitment Period, you are required to pay U Mobile the outstanding Monthly Device Fees (balance charges), as determined by U Mobile as set out below:


    Balance charges = Device Recommended Retail Price (RRP) ÷ Total Commitment Period (months) × remaining number of months


    RRP and U Mobile Selling Price are specified in https://www.u.com.my/en/personal/devices The remaining number of months will be deemed to include the month during which you terminate the Service.

  6. All claims relating to your Device, which is part of the U PayLater service and which are covered by the warranty, if any, should be referred to the relevant manufacturer. We do not provide any warranty claim on any Device.
  7. The outstanding Monthly Device Fee is in addition to any charges payable by you under your account up to the time of termination. You will be furnished with a final bill which is due and payable upon receipt.

Miscellaneous

“Commitment Period” is the pre-agreed duration of twenty-four (24) or thirty-six (36) months for which you are required to subscribe to the Services,

“Monthly Fee” is the monthly fee that you are required to pay for your Postpaid Plan and may be used interchangeably with Access Fee or Monthly Access Fee in www.u.com.my or in your bill.

“Device” refers to the devices you are eligible to purchase under the U SaveMore or U PayLater.

“U Mobile Selling Price” also known as “Device Price” is the price stipulated for the particular device if you subscribe to U Home 5G.
