General

  1. U Home 5G x sooka Premium bundle plan (“Plan”) consists of U Mobile's U Home 5G home broadband (“U Home 5G”) which is bundled with sooka Premium content streaming service (“sooka Premium”).
  2. The Plan is available from 19 December 2023 until 31 December 2025 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion and Redemption Period”). Upon successful subscription of U Home 5G during the Promotion and Redemption Period, you will enjoy six (6) months of sooka Premium subscription with the monthly promotional fees of RM98.
  3. The Plan is available for new and existing U Home 5G subscribers:
    1. For new subscribers, you can sign up to U Home 5G at your nearest U Mobile Service Centre or via U Mobile Online Store at https://shop.u.com.my/um/offer-detail/641?planid=fixed-wireless-broadband. You can then activate the Plan via MyUMobile App.
    2. For existing subscribers, you can upgrade your existing U Home 5G plan to the Plan via MyUMobile App.
  4. The Plan applies to U Home 5G plan only. The Plan is provided according to our Terms of Service for U Home 5G. You must comply with those Terms of Service including our Privacy Notice and these additional terms and conditions (collectively, the “Terms”), all which are available on http://www.u.com.my/.

 

U Home 5G x sooka Premium Plan Subscription

  1. Steps to register for the U Home 5G x sooka Premium bundle:
    1. If you are not an existing U Home 5G subscriber, you will need to activate a new U Home 5G plan at any of our Service Centres or dealers. If you are an existing U Home 5G subscriber, you may proceed to paragraph (b) below.
    2. Download the MyUMobile App and log in to see exclusive U Home 5G x sooka Premium featured banner.
    3. Click on BUY NOW button in the MyUMobile App.
    4. An e-coupon will be sent to your registered email. The e-coupon may be redeemed at sooka website (https://sooka.my/redeem). The sooka Premium subscription is subject to the terms and conditions of sooka as provided in sooka website.
  2. The e-coupon can only be redeemed within one (1) month from activation of the Plan. If you do not redeem the e-coupon within the stipulated redemption period, the e-coupon will automatically expire, and any unused e-coupon will be forfeited.
  3. You may sign up to only one (1) subscription of Plan for one (1) U Home 5G subscription.
  4. You will be charged the monthly fees in your next bill and will be recurring monthly for six (6) consecutive months. Your first month's monthly fees will be pro-rated depending on the service activation date. For subsequent months, you will be charged the monthly fee for each monthly billing period. If the Plan is terminated before the end of your billing cycle, your monthly fees will be pro-rated.
  5. Upon redemption of the e-coupon, your sooka Premium subscription under the Plan is valid for a period of six (6) months (“Validity Period”) only. Upon the expiry of the Validity Period, you can continue subscribing to sooka Premium directly with sooka at the regular retail price. You are responsible for payment of all charges associated with this Plan (if any) both during and after the Validity Period.
  6. You may walk-in to our service centres or dealers' outlets to request for termination of the Plan.
  7. We reserve the right to discontinue offering the Plan, modify or otherwise change these Terms including the charges.
  8. The Plan is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash, credit or rebate in full or in part, The Plan cannot be combined with any other offers or promotion unless expressly stated.

 

Other Terms

  1. We disclaim all liability in relation to the material, channels and programmes (including any advertisements), and all content (whether visual, audio, video or otherwise) in relation to sooka Premium.
  2. We are not responsible for any delay, cancellation of or failure to deliver the live event or match broadcast on the date of event or match programme included as part of the sooka Premium.
  3. For any technical issue relating to sooka Premium you may raise a report via https://support.sooka.my/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id.
