  1. This ‘U Mobile’s x CIMB Bank Reload & Subscribe Campaign’ (“Campaign”) is organized by U Mobile Sdn Bhd (Registration No: 199101013657 (223969-U) (“U Mobile”) which commences at 00:00:00 on 1 November 2024 and ends at 23:59:59 on 31 December 2024 (“Campaign Period”).  All entries received outside the Campaign Period will be automatically disqualified.
  2. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).
  3. Campaign Eligibility
    1. This Campaign is open to all U Mobile Prepaid subscribers.
    2. U Mobile’s employees and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in this Campaign.
    3. U Mobile reserves the right to reject any entries or disqualify participants without assigning any reason.
    4. Participants who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have obtained the consent of their parents or guardians to participate in this Campaign.
  4. Campaign Mechanism
    1. To participate in this Campaign, you must complete any of the following steps:
      1. You must perform minimum of one (1) Prepaid Reload transaction and subscribe* to a Prepaid plan with a minimum value of RM35, such as U Prepaid 35, U Prepaid 40, U Prepaid 50, GX38, GX43, UMI36, UMI50 via CIMB OCTO App or CIMB Clicks Web; or
        *Subscription of any Prepaid plan can be performed via MyUMobile App or via UMB 118 within the Campaign Period.
      2. You must purchase a Prepaid plan with a minimum value of RM35, such as U Prepaid 35, U Prepaid 40, U Prepaid 50, GX38, GX43, UMI36, UMI50 directly via CIMB OCTO App or CIMB Clicks Web within the Campaign Period.
    2. No entry forms are required.
    3. Each successful transaction under item 4(a)(i) or under item 4(a)(ii) qualifies for participation in this Campaign during the specified Campaign Month as set out in the tables below:

  1. Prizes and Fulfilment
    1. The participants who complete the steps listed in paragraph 4 above will be shortlisted based on the selection methods to win the prizes as set out in the following Table.

    1. In addition to the above selection methods, the shortlisted participants are required to answer one (1) question posted by U Mobile in order to win the prizes. If any of the questions are not answered correctly after 2 attempts, or if U Mobile is unable to contact the shortlisted participant after 2 voice call attempts, the shortlisted participant will be disqualified and the next shortlisted participant will be contacted

    2. Monthly Prize: 100% Cashback via Prepaid Credit
      1. The winner will be entitled to receive Cashback equivalent to the Prepaid plans’ value (purchased by the winner) in the form of prepaid credit.
      2. U Mobile will notify the winners of their entitlement to receive the Cashback via SMS.
      3. The Cashback will be credited into the winners’ Prepaid accounts (the same MSISDN used to perform the transactions).
      4. U Mobile will only make one (1) attempt to credit the Cashback to the winners’ Prepaid accounts. In the event that such attempt failed due to any reasons whatsoever, the Cashback will be forfeited.
         
    3. Grand Prize: Modenas Kriss MR3 FI110 Drum
      1. U Mobile will notify the winners of their entitlement to receive the Grand Prizes via phone call. The prizes may be given out as follows (subject to U Mobile’s sole discretion):
        • The winner may be required to attend a prize giving ceremony as scheduled by U Mobile (winner needs to show their NRIC for verification purpose before collecting the prize). In the event the winner is not able to attend the prize giving ceremony scheduled by U Mobile, the winner has the option to send a representative to attend the prize giving ceremony. The authorised representative must produce a letter of authorization containing the representative’s details together with a photocopy of NRIC (front and back) of the authorized person during collection of the prize for verification purpose; OR
        • The winners shall be responsible to make all the necessary arrangements with U Mobile’s appointed distributor or agent to collect the Grand Prize and bear all the expenses relating to the collection of the prizes including travelling and transportation expenses. U Mobile shall not be responsible for any accommodation, transportation or other costs that may be incurred by the winner in the course of collecting or using the Grand Prize
      2. The Grand Prize winner must have the legal capacity to own the Grand Prize.
      3. Winners shall be responsible for and bear all the charges, taxes or fees relating to the Grand Prize including registration fees, motor insurance, road tax and maintenance charges. U Mobile shall not be responsible for after sales warranty or service.
      4. Any after sales warranty and service are subject to the terms and conditions of the Grand Prize distributor: YQS Berjaya Mega Motors Setia Alam (Distributor’s Address: 13 & 15, Jalan Setia Utama, Seksyen, U13 Shah Alam, 40170 Shah Alam, Selangor). The winner shall refer to the supplier for any changes in its terms and conditions.
         
    4. Runner-up prize: iPhone 14
      1. U Mobile will notify the winners of their entitlement to receive the Runner Up Prizes via phone call. The prizes may be given out as follows (subject to U Mobile’s sole discretion):
        • The winner may be required to attend a prize giving ceremony as scheduled by U Mobile (winner needs to show their NRIC for verification purpose before collecting the prize). In the event the winner is not able to attend the prize giving ceremony scheduled by U Mobile, the winner has the option to send a representative to attend the prize giving ceremony. The authorised representative must produce a letter of authorization containing the representative’s details together with a photocopy of NRIC (front and back) of the authorized person during collection of the prize for verification purpose; OR
        • The winner is required to provide a valid delivery address for the delivery of the prizes. Failure to provide a valid delivery address after two (2) times of attempted delivery arrangement will result in the forfeiture of the prizes. Any winner whose prize has been forfeited shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation. U Mobile may at its discretion revise the prize delivery arrangement.
      2. The winner’s failure to provide the required details or information will result in the forfeiture of the prizes.
    5. You must ensure that your U Mobile prepaid is Active during the Campaign Period and until the issuance of prizes. “Active” means able to make and receive calls.
    6. There is no limit on the entries or prizes for each participant for the Prepaid Credit during the Campaign Period. However, for the Runner-up Prize and Grand Prize, each participant is only entitled to win one (1) Runner-up Prize or Grand Prize during the entire Campaign Period.
    7. The prizes are given on an "as is" basis and are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, in full or in part. U Mobile reserves the right to substitute the prize with that of similar value at any time without prior notice.
    8. The winner will be required to participate in a photography session during the delivery of the prizes and the prize giving ceremony.
    9. U Mobile reserves the right at its sole discretion to re-schedule any prize issuance without prior notice.  The winners’ names may be published on the U Mobile website or any other method of communications U Mobile deems appropriate. Any prizes shown on U Mobile’s website, U Mobile’s social media pages, advertisements and Campaign materials are for photography or illustration purposes only.
  1. General
    1. U Mobile’s decisions on any matter relating to this Campaign are final and binding on all participants.  If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by U Mobile.
    2. U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions including terminating or suspending this Campaign and extending the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Campaign.
    3. All rewards are accepted entirely at the risk of the participants. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign.  All participants and if the participants are below 18 years of age, their parents or guardians, agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.
    4. By participating in the Campaign, all participants:-
      1. consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign; and
      2. consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
      3. grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
    5. Any consents, indemnities, agreement, undertakings, representations and warranties given under these Terms and Conditions by participants who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have been given by their parents or guardians.
    6. The subscription and use of U Mobile’s Prepaid mobile services are subject to U Mobile’s standard Prepaid Terms and Conditions and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, U Mobile’s standard Prepaid Terms and Conditions will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
    7. The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.
    8. In the event of any conflict between the English and other language versions, the English version shall prevail.
