Terms & Conditions

1. You must perform minimum of one (1) Prepaid Reload transaction via HLB Connect by debiting funds from your CASA/CASA-i, and subscribe* to a Prepaid plan with a minimum value of RM35, such as U Prepaid 35, U Prepaid 40, U Prepaid 50, GX38, GX43, UMI36, UMI50; OR

   *Subscription of any Prepaid plan can be performed via MyUMobile App or via UMB 118.

2. You must purchase a Prepaid plan directly via HLB Connect by debiting funds from your CASA/CASA-i with a minimum value of RM35, such as U Prepaid 35, U Prepaid 40, U Prepaid 50, GX38, GX43, UMI36, UMI50.

Monthly Prize:

1. U Mobile will notify the winners of their entitlement to receive the Prizes via SMS.
2. The prepaid credit will be credited into the winners’ Prepaid accounts (the same mobile number used to perform the transactions).
3. U Mobile will only make one (1) attempt to credit the prepaid credit to the winners’ Prepaid accounts. In the event that such attempt failed due to any reasons whatsoever, the prepaid credit will be forfeited.

1. U Mobile will contact the shortlisted participants via phone call to answer one (1) question posted by U Mobile in order to win the Prize. If any of the questions are not answered correctly after two (2) attempts, or if U Mobile is unable to contact the shortlisted participant after two (2) voice call attempts, the shortlisted participant will be disqualified and the next shortlisted participant will be contacted.
2. The winner will be required to attend a Prize giving ceremony as scheduled by U Mobile (winner needs to show their NRIC or Passport for verification purpose before collecting the Prize). In the event the winner is not able to attend the Prize giving ceremony scheduled by U Mobile, the winner has the option to send a representative to attend the Prize giving ceremony. The authorised representative must produce a letter of authorization containing the representative’s details together with a photocopy of NRIC (front and back) or Passport of the authorised person during collection of the Prize for verification purpose.
3. The winner’s failure to provide the required details or information will result in the forfeiture of the Prize.
4. The winner or the authorised representative will be required to participate in a photography session during the delivery of the Prizes at the Prize giving ceremony.
5. In the event there are more than two (2) eligible participants who have accumulated the same highest points, the first two (2) eligible participants to achieve the highest points as captured by the Bank will be selected as the winners.
6. U Mobile and the Bank give no representation or warranty with respect to the quality or suitability of the Prize (including but not limited to the validity and/or usage of the Prize) and shall not be responsible to replace any lost, stolen or damaged Prize. The winners shall deal directly with the manufacturer/vendor for any queries, disputes, warranty information or claims pertaining to the Prize without recourse to U Mobile and the Bank. All risks, loss, damage and/or injury associated with the use of the Prize shall be assumed by the winners.

1. agree that they have read, understood and accepted to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, the Bank’s General Terms and Conditions of Accounts and the Bank’s Terms and Conditions for the use of HLB Connect available at the Bank’s Websites (“Applicable Terms and Conditions”);
2. to access U Mobile’s website or the Bank’s Websites at regular intervals to view these Terms and Conditions and to ensure they keep up to date with any changes or variations to the Terms and Conditions;
3. agree to provide their latest and accurate contact details i.e. mobile number and addresses to U Mobile. U Mobile shall not be held responsible or liable in the event U Mobile is unable to contact the eligible participants due to the inaccurate or invalid mobile number or address provided by the eligible participants or the SMS is unable to be delivered due to any reason whatsoever;
4. consent for U Mobile and the Bank to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign;
5. consent for U Mobile and the Bank to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and masked mobile number and any general information that U Mobile and the Bank see fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials;
6. agree to grant U Mobile and the Bank the rights to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation; and
7. agree for U Mobile to claw-back the Prize in the event there is any detected fraud, breaches and non-compliance by participants against the Applicable Terms and Conditions.
