1. This U Mobile ‘Giler Unlimited Online MNP Promo’ Promotion (“Promotion”) by U Mobile Sdn Bhd (“U Mobile”) will commence at 00:00 on 03 July 2018 and continue until further notice (“Promotion Period”).

 

2. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).

 

3. Promotion Eligibility

 

This Promotion is open to all Active Postpaid and Prepaid subscribers except corporate subscribers on corporate accounts. “Active” means able to make and receive calls. This Promotion is open to one port-in at one point of time.

 

4. Promotion Mechanics

 

a. To participate in this Promotion:

 

  • Postpaid : You must perform successful port-in from another service provider to GX50 Postpaid plan via online channel during the Promotion Period
  • Prepaid : You must perform port-in from another service provider via online channel and purchase GX30 bundle via MyUMobile App, UMB (dial *118#) and web self-care, during the Promotion Period.

 

b. Each eligible subscriber is only entitled to the Rebate under this Promotion once during the Promotion Period. Any subscribers who have participated in this Promotion and subsequently terminate their account and activate or re-activates new line during the Promotion Period will no longer be eligible for this Promotion. In this case, no Rebate will be granted from the termination or change rate plan month. Any remaining balance of the Rebate will be forfeited.

 

5. U Mobile ‘Giler Unlimited’ Promotion Rebate (“Rebate”).

 

a. All eligible Postpaid GX50 subscribers who perform successful port-in via online channel are entitled to RM10 rebate for 12 consecutive months that will be reflected in subsequent monthly bill statement.

All eligible Prepaid GX30 subscribers who perform successful port-in via online channel and purchase GX30 bundle are entitled to RM5 bonus credit for 6 consecutive months.

 

b. Postpaid GX50: The eligible Postpaid GX50 subscriber is only entitled to one–time Rebate for each billing period, subject always to the following conditions:

 

i. The Rebate is for 12 consecutive Postpaid billing period commencing from the activation month (“Rebate Period”).

 

ii. The subscriber will only receive the Rebate when the line is Active during the Rebate Period.

 

iii. Rebate will not be granted if the GX50 line is suspended.

 

For instance, if the GX50 line is suspended between 25 August to 25 October 2018, and the line is reactivated on 26 October 2018, the subscriber will not receive the Rebate on 26 August and 26 September, and get the Rebate when line is reactivated on 26 October. Therefore, the subscriber will receive 10 Rebates in total instead of 12 Rebates.

 

iv. The following Table illustrates the Rebate payable months based on successful port-in/ activation date:

c. Prepaid GX30

 

  • The eligible Prepaid GX30 subscriber is entitled to RM5 one-time monthly bonus credit with one GX30 bundle purchase during the past 30 days, subject always to the following conditions:

 

i. The Rebate is for 6 consecutive months (“Rebate Period”).

 

ii. Subscriber will only receive the Rebate when the line is Active during the Rebate Period.

 

iii. Subscriber will not receive the Rebate if there is no GX30 bundle purchase in a particular month. As an illustration, if the subscriber purchases GX30 on 29 July, he/she will get his/her first RM5 Rebate on 5 August. If the subscriber unsubscribes GX30 on 28 August, he/she will not receive the Rebate on 5 September. If the subscriber subscribes GX30 again for the following months, he/she will receive 5 Rebates in total instead of 6 Rebates.

 

iv. Rebate will be granted in the form of bonus credit and will be credited directly to the subscriber’s Bonus Credit Wallet on the 5th of every month or next business day should the 5th day fall on weekend or public holiday. The bonus credit granted will not affect the credit validity, namely it does not extend the validity period and the line must be active for the subscriber to use the bonus credit. The Table below provides the illustration of Rebate schedule:

6. Subscriber can check their Bonus Credit via the following channels:

 

a. MyUMobile App – My Wallet / Bonus Credit

b. UMB – dial *118*6*7#

 

7. The Rebate for Postpaid GX50 or bonus credit for Prepaid GX30 is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash in full or in part.

 

8. General

 

a. U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions and may terminate, suspend this Promotion or extend the Promotion Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Promotion.

 

b. By participating in the Promotion, all participants: -

 

i. consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Promotion;

 

ii. consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and

 

iii. Grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.

 

c. The subscription and use of U Mobile’s Postpaid and Prepaid mobile service are subject to U Mobile’s standard Postpaid and Prepaid Terms and Condition and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, U Mobile’s standard Postpaid and Prepaid Terms and Conditions, as the case may be, will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.

 

d. The Promotion and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Promotion.
