This Single Sign-On (SSO) ID Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SSO functionality provided by U Mobile Sdn Bhd Registration No: 199101013657 (223969-U) ("U Mobile"). By using the SSO functionality, the Website Policy Terms of Use, Online Store Terms of Use, our Privacy Notice, and these Terms will apply (collectively, the Terms”), all of which are available on www.u.com.my

1. SSO Functionality
   1. The SSO functionality allows you to access U Mobile’s portals or platforms using one unique login credential or ID created on our Mobile Application (MyUMobile App) and Online Store (https://shop.u.com.my). This allows you to manage your accounts for the services obtained through U Mobile’s platforms.
       
2. SSO Binding Level
   1. The binding process for Single Sign-On account will concur through various logins such as Mobile Numbers, Email Addresses, and even social media login
   2. User accounts from the MyUMobile App and U Mobile Online Store will be go through the process of managing their lines on an account level to ensure a Single Sign-On structure is maintained for all users.
   3. Accounts that have been linked are irreversible on the MyUMobile App and U Mobile Online Store to ensure both platforms will have synchronised account information for the users.
       
3. Services
   1. "Services" means all websites, applications, and Online Store by the Company that are accessible using the SSO functionality.
       
4. Use of the SSO Functionality
   1. Certain features of the MyUMobile App and/or U Mobile Online Store may require the input of your email address, password and/or mobile number registered with U Mobile. You are solely responsible for the security and maintaining the confidentiality of your User ID, security phrase, Temporary Authentication Code (TAC), password, account information and/or user authentication and are fully responsible for all conduct carried out under this User ID, security phrase, TAC, password, account and/or user authentication. We are not liable for any loss of confidentiality.
   2. You are responsible for any activity or conducts carried out under your user ID or security credentials in your account on the services/portals/platforms, regardless of whether you authorized such activity or conduct.
   3. You must promptly notify us on any unauthorized use of your account/user ID/security credential or any other breach of security.
   4. Certain features of the MyUMobile App and/or U Mobile Online Store may require the input of your email address, password and/or mobile number registered with U Mobile. You are solely responsible for the security, confidentiality & privacy of your email address, password, mobile number and any personal data or information stored on your mobile device and/or for all the activities related to the MyUMobile App and/or U Mobile Online Store.
      
      You must not:
      • use another's User ID or name without permission or impersonate another person when using this service or u.com.my;
      • provide false information when registering or changing your registration details;
      • circumventing any user authentication or security of any host, network or account (cracking or hacking; and
      • attempt any of the above acts or permit another person to do any of the above acts.
         
5. Termination
   1. We may immediately suspend, terminate or limit your access to SSO functionality at any time if you are in breach of the Terms or there is an emergency or for operational or regulatory reasons or for whatever reason we deem fit.
       
6. Third-Party Identity Providers
   1. You acknowledge and agree that the Company is not responsible for the security practices or privacy policies of any third-party Identity Provider. You are encouraged to review the terms and conditions and privacy policy of your Identity Provider before using the Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality.
       
7. General
   
   U Mobile may change any of these Terms from time to time. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions on our website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease your use or access to this service or service.
   
   We will take reasonable steps to secure this service, u.com.my services and the systems in our control that are used to access u.com.my. However, the internet may be unreliable and is a difficult medium to secure. We do not guarantee the security of this service, u.com.my services or the systems (including the internet and your hardware and software) used to access u.com.my, or any information that passes through such systems.
   
   To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with use of this SSO functionality. You agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or for loss or damage; whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising from use of this service. U Mobile will not be liable for any damage, loss or leakage of the data or information or security breaches or unauthorised access resulting from (a) unauthorized use of the U Mobile’s platforms/portals (MyUMobile App and/or U Mobile Online Store) or due to circumstances beyond U Mobiles’ control or breaches or your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
   
   Subject to any applicable law which cannot be excluded, we make no representations or warranties as to the accuracy, timeliness, security or completeness of material on this service or u.com.my and excludes all warranties whether express or implied relating in any way to this service or u.com.my or to your use of this service or u.com.my.
   
   Our Privacy Notice applies to how we use your personal information.
   
   These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from these Terms.
