U SaveMore for U Postpaid 68, U Postpaid Borneo 68, U Postpaid 98 and U Family 128
Subject to paragraph 5, all U SaveMore subscribers are required to pay upfront payment and total amount billed upon sign up.
Payment Options under U SaveMore
3.1Payment Methods:
Under U SaveMore, you have the option to choose the following payment methods:
Payment via FPX (Financial Process Exchange) OR credit card:
You are required to make the full payment of the total amount charged during sign up by using FPX or credit card; or
3.2Easy Payment Plan (EPP)
The EPP is available to U Mobile customers who fulfil the following criteria:
possess valid credit card issued by any of our Partnering Banks/Credit Card Issuer.
The selection of Device model for EPP is solely at U Mobile’s own discretion.
If you terminate your U SaveMore or change to another rate plan at any time before the end of the Commitment Period, the following will apply:
Sign-up before 15 December 2023
For subscribers who are entitled to the upfront payment waiver (i.e No upfront payment is required to be made), you are required to refund the balance charges as calculated below:
Balance charges = U Mobile Selling Price / Commitment Period x remaining number of months
For subscribers who are not entitled to the upfront payment waiver and have paid the upfront payment, your remaining monthly rebate will be forfeited
Sign-up from 15 December 2023 onwards
Balance charges = (Device Recommended Retail Price (RRP) – U Mobile Selling Price – upfront payment) ÷ Total Commitment Period (months) x remaining number of months)
(RRP and U Mobile Selling Price are specified in https://www.u.com.my/en/personal/devices)
The remaining number of months will be deemed to include the month during which you terminate the Service.
U Mobile may block or restrict the use of the Device during the Commitment Period if:

U PayLater for iPhone and Android
U Mobile U PayLater is a bundled package that allows you to purchase a device (iPhone/Android) together with the applicable Postpaid rate plans and pay for the bundled package at 0% interest over a pre-agreed commitment period. If you subscribe to U PayLater, the Terms of Service of the respective Postpaid plans, including our Privacy Notice, and these additional terms and conditions will apply (collectively, the “Terms”), all of which are available on www.u.com.my. The rate plans offered under U PayLater are U Postpaid 68, U Postpaid Borneo 68 U Postpaid 98 and U Family 128 Postpaid plans (“Plan” or “Plans”).
Eligibility
U PayLater is available to the following customers who are at least 22 years of age at the date of registration of U PayLater and who are either:
Duration
U PayLater commences from the date of activation of U PayLater and continues for the Commitment Period, depending on the Device model selected.
Price and Payment
Ownership
You acknowledge that the Device title, interest and ownership does not belong to you during the Commitment Period. The Device is provided under U PayLater to you and you are accountable for the use and safety of the Device. You will not directly or indirectly give or allow another person to give any interest in or lien over the Device.
Termination and Suspension
If you terminate or if we terminate your U PayLater due to your default or if you downgrade your rate plan before the expiry of the Commitment Period, you are required to pay U Mobile the Device remaining balance charges, as determined by U Mobile as set out below:

Sign up from 15 December 2023 onwards
Balance charges = Device Recommended Retail Price (RRP) ÷ Total Commitment Period (months) × remaining number of months

The remaining number of months will be deemed to include the month during which you terminate the Service.
U Mobile may block the IMEI number of your device, if:
If your IMEI number is blocked due to fraud or suspected fraud, you may be requested to contact U Mobile’s customer service for further instructions.
Miscellaneous
“Commitment Period” is the pre-agreed duration of twenty-four (24) or thirty-six (36) months for which you are required to subscribe to the Services.
“Monthly Fee” is the monthly fee that you are required to pay for your Postpaid Plan and may be used interchangeably with Access Fee or Monthly Access Fee in www.u.com.my or in your bill.
“Device” refers to the devices you are eligible to purchase under the U PayLater.
“U Mobile Selling Price” also known as “Device Price” is the price stipulated for the particular device if you subscribe to U Mobile U Postpaid 68, U Postpaid Borneo 68, U Postpaid 98 or U Family 128 Postpaid plan.
