1. CreditSOS allows eligible U Mobile Prepaid subscribers access to receive advance prepaid credit from U Mobile on an emergency basis (“Service”).
2. By subscribing to the Service, you agree to these terms of service and the terms applicable to the relevant U Mobile Prepaid terms and conditions including our Privacy Notice, all of which are available on https://www.u.com.my/en/personal/support/terms-conditions (collectively, the “Terms”).
3. Eligibility
The Service is made available to all U Mobile Prepaid subscribers who have subscribed to U Mobile Prepaid for a minimum tenure of 2 months based on your eligibility as determined by U Mobile.
4. Service Subscription and Fees
a. The Service involves the CreditSOS credit advance (“Credit Advance”) amounts which are subject to the service fee and validity options as set out below:

b. The Credit Advance amount entitlement will be based on your eligibility as determined by U Mobile. The maximum validity of each Credit Advance will be 3 days.
c. The Service can be: (i) requested by you; or (ii) offered by U Mobile, as follows:
i. Requested by the Subscriber: U Mobile Prepaid subscribers may request for the Service via one-off subscription or automated subscription:

By subscribing to the automated subscription, the Credit Advance will be granted automatically whenever your Prepaid credit balance reaches the threshold value as determined by U Mobile (“threshold value”). However, the Credit Advance amount may vary each time based on your eligibility as determined by U Mobile.
ii. Offer From U Mobile
Once your Prepaid credit balance reaches the threshold value, eligible subscribers will receive an SMS offer from U Mobile. The offered Credit Advance amount will be based on your eligibility as determined by U Mobile.
5. Credit Advance
a. The repayment of the Credit Advance amount and service fee (“Outstanding Amount”) will be automatically deducted from your next Prepaid top-up. If your Prepaid top-up amount is insufficient to cover the Outstanding Amount, the remaining balance of the Outstanding Amount will be deducted from your subsequent Prepaid top-up, until the Outstanding Amount is fully repaid. If you have Outstanding Amount from more than one Credit Advance subscriptions, your Prepaid top-up amount will first be utilised to settle the Outstanding Amount of your earliest Credit Advance subscription, followed by the Outstanding Amount of your subsequent Credit Advance subscriptions.
b. You are allowed to subscribe to more than 1 Credit Advance at a time subject to your eligibility at the time of subscription request as determined by U Mobile.
c. Any airtime received via CreditShare service will not be eligible for offsetting the Outstanding Amount.
d. Upon subscription of the Service, service fee will be charged even if the Credit Advance is not utilised. No refund will be entertained.
e. Your Credit Advance balance will expire and will be forfeited if you switch to other U Mobile Prepaid plans or if you port out to other telecommunication operators. The Outstanding Amount will be carried forward to the new U Mobile Prepaid plan account.
f. You will be required to settle all Outstanding Amount if you wish to terminate your U Mobile Prepaid account or switch to U Mobile Postpaid plan.
g. If you subscribe for the Service via SMS when you are in Malaysia, there is no charge for the SMS. However, any subscription to the Service via SMS while roaming, the SMS will be charged. The charges will depend on the roaming countries and operators that you have selected. h. The validity period of the Prepaid account will be determined by the longest applicable validity period. If the validity period of the subscribed Credit Advance has a longer validity period than the remaining validity period of your Prepaid account, the expiry date of your Prepaid account will be extended by adding the subscribed Credit Advance validity period. If the subscription to the Credit Advance does not affect the validity period of your Prepaid account, there will be no adjustments to the expiry date of your Prepaid account.
As an illustration, if the validity period of your Prepaid account is until 20 March 2020, and you subscribe to a Credit Advance of RM5 (with a validity period of 3 days) on 18 of March 2020, the new expiry date of your Prepaid account will be 18 March 2020 + 3 days = 21 March 2020.
However, if the validity period of your Prepaid account is until 20 March 2020, and you subscribe to a Credit Advance of RM5 (with a validity of 3 days) on 10 March 2020, there will be no adjustments to the expiry date of your Prepaid account.
i. We may change the Service (including any of its features and functionalities) at any time and any of these Terms from time to time. Any change of these Terms will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check the Terms on our website.
j. We may stop allowing you to use the Service, with or without notice for any reason whatsoever, including if we suspect that there is fraudulent or unauthorized use or for any operational reasons.
6. General
a. These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from these Terms.
b. If there is any conflict between these Terms, the Prepaid plan terms and conditions and the privacy notice, the conflict will be resolved in the following descending order:
(i) the Prepaid Plan Terms and Conditions;
(ii) the Privacy Notice; and
(iii) these Terms.
c. References to “us”, “our” or “we” mean U Mobile Sdn Bhd Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U).
